2014 – June Meeting

 

Meeting Reports:

Nothing to report. 

 

Two members, Andy Beal and Rick Bryant, will represent our club at the Regional Symposium. 

 

The Woodturners Widows Assistance program will be up and running soon and will be posted on the website.

 

A Frank Long Memorial Scholorship will hopefully be announced next month. 

 

Elections for President, Vice President and Secretary will be held in October. 

 

 

 

 

Meeting Announcements:

The rules for the Perpetual Turning were repeated. You take the turning, you bring a turning to next meeting. 

 

Please wear nametags. Let Rob know if you need a nametag. 

 

The website will be updated in the near future. Pass on to Steve or Rick any suggestions you might have. 

 

Visitors were introduced. 

 

The raffle table has burl pieces, numerous turning blanks, perpetual turning, and two Craft Supply $20 gift certificates. 

 

Perpetual Turning:

Perpetual Turning was made Tom Buchner and won by Rick Bryant. 

 

Demonstration:

Demonstration by Bill Grumbine.  Turning a tool handle with the skew chisel.
