Meeting Announcements:

Meals on Wheels donations are due in the September meeting.  Harry Pye will be collecting to take to Meals on Wheels

 

Club member Jim Haley recently passed.  The club will be helping to sell his tools on behalf of his wife.  Sale date is Saturday 26 September  9am – 4 pm.  A web page will be published with descriptions and pictures soon

 

Jim Brown reports 47 members so far this year.

 

Nothing new in the library.  Reminder that books or DVDs are due to be returned the following month.  Joan reports a number of items are outstanding.

 

Perpetual Turning:

No perpetual turning this month, the recipient of last months perpetual turning did not attend this meeting.

 

 

Demonstration:

Joan Lech showed how to carve and texture a feather.  Very interesting.  Bird feathers are more intricate than many in the audience appreciated.
