Meeting Reports:

Jim reminds that the AAW has 50% discount on membership for first-time members until June.

Meeting Announcements:

Jim still looking for feedback on new club brochure.

 

Jim wants to know what topics members want to see in future demonstrations.

 

Jim suggesting a road trip to Center for Arts in Wood in Philadelphia.  Let Jim know if interested and desired dates or availability.  Likely a Saturday.

 

Jim asking for volunteers to update Facebook etc.

 

Reminder for members to check if dues have been paid for the year.  See Andy Beal for list. 

 

Perpetual Turning:

Sean Carson walnut lidded box won by Rob Kingham.

 

 

Demonstration:

Demonstration by Butch Ruggiero showing turning beads with DWay beading tools. Demonstration by Rob Kingham turning captive rings.

Club members were encouraged to try these on the demonstration lathes.  A lot of participation.  Good practice.
